Dear patients and friends,

It has been my pleasure to serve our community for the past 42 years as your dentist. I have had the privilege of meeting many wonderful people over the years, and have enjoyed serving you and your family. It is with great happiness and a sense of fulfillment that I announce my retirement this month.

Dr. Davis Zubke will assume the care of my patients. Dr. Zubke is a graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry. He has been with our practice since September 2016, so many of you have already become acquainted, and he looks forward to meeting those of you to whom he hasn’t been introduced. Dr. Zubke is married to an Escanaba native, Tara Myers, and they have happily made their home in Escanaba, where they are raising their two children.

There will be no interruption in care for you and your family. Our excellent staff will remain the same and you will continue to have your scheduled cleaning appointments with our dental hygienists, as set up for you at your last appointment. Dr. Zubke will work with you and your family to provide the same high quality, gentle, family dentistry you have grown accustomed to at Carlyon Dentistry. I am confident he will provide you the most up to date care that is available to the profession, and I ask that you give Dr. Zubke the same support you have given me. You can continue to call our office at 786-3891 to schedule your appointments Monday through Friday. You will be in good hands!

I appreciate your loyalty throughout the past 42 years. I will take the memories and friendships with me into retirement. I wish you continued good health, happy smiles and all the best in the coming years.
